Site Work Begins For Construction Of New SDI Facility

Site work has begun on the new Support Dogs’ facility. The new 21,000 square foot facility will contain space to run all of our programs simultaneously, as well as provide the capability of expanding our services as we continue to see waiting lists for our programs continue to grow. We will have dedicated training areas for the assistance dog program, TOUCH, Paws For Reading, and obedience classes. Dedicated space for events and fundraising functions, as well as administration will also be present. The kennel area will be state of the art, giving Support Dogs the ability to significantly increase the number of dogs housed on site over time. The high point of the new facility will be PLENTY of green space for the advanced training dogs.
