Jennifer McGrath has been a Touch Therapy volunteer at Duo Dogs since 2014 and joined the Board of Directors in 2021. She and her Labrador, Tackle, provide weekly pet therapy visits at hospitals and also serve on the Crisis Response Team. Prior to moving to St. Louis in 2013, Jennifer spent nearly 20 years working in public relations and marketing, as director of public relations for the largest long-term care organization in southwestern Pennsylvania, and writing, proofing and editing for several small businesses. She is an active Red Cross volunteer, primarily in public affairs and disaster relief work. She is involved in church life and has led mission trips since 2003 to Nicaragua, Mexico and New Orleans. In 2019, Jennifer joined the Saint Louis Zoo Association Board of Directors and serves as chair of the Public Relations & Marketing Committee. She enjoys gardening, traveling, and hiking with Tackle and her husband Jim. They live in Chesterfield and have three children and two grandchildren.
