One-Time and Recurring Gifts
We appreciate gifts of all sizes, from a $25 donation for treats and toys to a $1,000 contribution that can help cover the cost of training a support dog. Our form allows you to set your own custom amount as well as the option of making a recurring gift, which is a convenient way to provide ongoing support to Duo.
Named in memory of one of Duo’s amazing canine graduates, Sookie’s Touch honors and supports our Touch Therapy and Facility Dog programs. Your gift will assure that children and adults in need will always be able to receive the loving comfort that only our dogs can provide.
Duo provides assistance dogs to wounded veterans as they regain an independent lifestyle following military service. The Disabled American Veterans Independence Dog (DAVID) Fund helps with the application fee and equipment costs for these clients.
A planned gift to Duo will allow you to help Duo now and beyond your lifetime. It can also create tax benefits that include avoiding capital gains taxes on certain appreciated property and reducing income and estate taxes. Contact Peggy Musen, Duo’s Executive Director, at 314-997-2325 or firstname.lastname@example.org for a confidential consultation.
Other Ways to Donate
Amazon Wish List
Our new building allows us to train more dogs and serve more individuals. We still have some outstanding needs! Will you help?
Remember, if you use Amazon Smile, choose Duo Dogs and Amazon will donate 0.5% to us!
If you are interested in learning more about how to donate these items, or to donate the funds for Duo to purchase them, please contact Peggy Musen at 314-997-2325 or email@example.com. We appreciate your generosity and commitment to our work!
Virtual Pet Food Drive
We are hosting a Barksgiving! A virtual event to collect pet food for local pets in need. The donations will support our community partners, Gateway Pet Guardians and the St. Louis Area Foodbank. Both organizations will distribute the food to St. Louis pet parents in need.
“Due to the impact of COVID-19, there’s an increasing number of local families struggling to put food on the table for themselves and their pets,” said Peggy Musen, executive director of Duo Dogs. “To safely collect the items most needed, we’re asking our generous supporters to purchase items from our Amazon wish list and we’ll make sure they get to those in need.”
When purchasing from our Amazon wish list, just mark the box that says, “This is a gift” and we will enter you into a raffle to win a spectacular gift basket filled with pet supplies and treats from Purina and a special raffle prize from the St. Louis Blues.
“During the pandemic, many of us have grown to appreciate the companionship and love our pets provide more than ever,” said Musen. “Barksgiving is the perfect way to ‘pay it forward’ to make sure the pets of St. Louis are taken care of during the holidays.”
