Melanie serves as the main contact for prospective clients throughout the process of inquiry, selection, application, training, and placement with a Duo Assistance or Facility dog. Once certified as a team, Melanie and the trainers monitor the progress during the first months of placement before moving to yearly recertifications throughout their 8-year partnership with Duo. Melanie also provides mental health support to our Touch Therapy teams.
