As new challenges emerged, we have always had our eyes on the horizon — constantly developing new and improved programs to expand the people that we can serve and the depth of the impact we can have.

A duo is a pair that is better together than it is apart. And that is the deepest, simplest way that we could express both what we do and the impact we have on the community.
No single side of a duo is more important than the other. So this name emphasizes strength of the relationship between people and dogs. It is the magic that we have been tapping into since our beginning.
This extraordinary bond is present in all of our programming. Assistance dogs help our clients feel seen. A visit to the hospital from one of our Touch dogs helps to elevate a patient out of their immediate pain. A courtroom dog provides the safe haven for those suffering trauma.
In all cases, the dog and human together are something that is so much greater than just the sum of their parts. They are a duo.
